This print is based on a series of oil paintings that Raja Ravi Varma undertook prior to founding his press. The print clearly reflects its indebtedness to a prototype done in an oil medium

Note – Minor chip seen at her blouse area, which is commensurate with age and antiquity but that doesn’t affect the overall charm and appeal of the piece
