Antiquarian Saraswati framed lithograph portrait by Raja Ravi Varma, large glitters gold highlights embellished lithograph framed portrait, with original black wood ribbed frame, Depicts Godess of Wisdom and Arts Maa Saraswati Devi, seen in seated stance amidst the woods, playing the veena, holding a manuscript on palm leaves denoting her role as a goddess of learning, music and cognition, while her peacock watches her.

This print is based on a series of oil paintings that Raja Ravi Varma undertook prior to founding his press. The print clearly reflects its indebtedness to a prototype done in an oil medium. Art collectible in its original wood handmade and handpainted frame.
